Usage Rates and Compatibilities

OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant is a multi-component adjuvant formulation that provides various benefits to knockdown herbicides in different conditions. It is particularly effective at improving herbicide efficacy under stressed conditions such as hard water or in hot, dry conditions.

OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant contains ammonium sulphate which may reduce the antagonism when Glyphosate products are tank-mixed with certain herbicides and hard water. For most knockdown herbicides applications, the usage rate for Outright 770 is specified as a volume % in the range from 0.25 – 1.0L/100L.

The typical spray volume for these applications is in the range of 40 – 100L/ha. Refer to herbicide product labels for specific directions.

For guidance on use rates of OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant consult the agricultural product label and/or the table below. OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant is registered for use with the following herbicides, including glyphosate.

Use higher label rates when mixing in hard water (>340ppm hardness) or treating difficult to control weeds in during hot and/or dry conditions. Outright 770 spray adjuvant is also compatible with products containing the following active ingredients; Atrazine, Carfentrazone-ethyl, Chlorsulfuron, Dicamba, Fluroxypyr, Oxyflurofen, Propyzamide, Pyresta Xtreme, Simazine, Paraquat/Diquat, Tiafenacil, Triasulfuron and Trifluralin.

Maximise Your Herbicide'sPotential with OUTRIGHT 770

Improved Herbicide Performance

OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant is your secret weapon for achieving superior herbicide performance. When sprayed with herbicides, it excels in enhancing their penetration through the protective waxy layer of weeds. This means most stubborn weeds are no match for your herbicide applications. The added benefit is a reduction in surface evaporation, giving herbicides more time to be absorbed. Your weed control will be more effective and efficient, helping you protect your crops and improve yields.

Extended Spray Droplet Life

One of the remarkable advantages of OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant is its ability to prolong the life of spray droplets on weed surfaces. When you spray herbicides, the longer the droplets stay in contact with the weeds, the better the results. OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant significantly delays the dry-down rate of these droplets, allowing them to adhere and linger on the weed’s surface. This extended contact time ensures that herbicides have ample opportunity to contribute to more consistent and reliable control.

Enhanced Adhesion and Spread

The non-ionic surfactants present in OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant play a crucial role in improving your herbicide applications. These surfactants work to enhance the adhesion of spray droplets to the target, ensuring that they don’t run off or evaporate before they can be effective. Additionally, they promote even spreading of the droplets across the weed surface. This means that your herbicides cover a larger area, maximising their uptake and effectiveness. OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant ensures that your herbicide applications achieve more uniform and reliable results.

Hard Water Compatibility

Water hardness can pose significant challenges to herbicide effectiveness. Many herbicides become less efficient in hard water, reducing their control over weeds. OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant solves this problem with its ammonium sulphate component. This vital ingredient minimises the negative impact of hard water on herbicides. . By using OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant, you’re safeguarding your herbicide applications from the detrimental effects of hard water, leading to consistently better results in a variety of water conditions.

So, What’s inside the drum

OUTRIGHT 770 spray adjuvant is a unique three-way mix of surfactants, penetrating oil and ammonium sulphate specifically designed for use in Australia. Each of the three components performs different functions, combining to create an ideal adjuvant for use in many situations.

Ethyl and Methyl Ester:

Ethyl and Methyl Esters of canola oil act as a penetrating oil, facilitating the penetration of active ingredients through the waxy surface of weeds. It also reduces surface evaporation, maximizing the time available for foliar uptake.

Non-Ionic Surfactants:

Non-ionic surfactants help spray droplets adhere to the target and spread effectively, improving herbicide uptake and overall performance.

Ammonium Sulphate:

This crucial component aids in overcoming the challenges posed by hard water. It helps prevent the adverse effects hard water can have on certain herbicides, making them more effective in challenging conditions.
